It's an exciting Premiership this season, Man Utd doing their usual creeping up act, Liverpool being top for so long and not really playing that well either, and Chelsea with all their millions underachieving and keeping it all open.
I think if Torres can regain his form of last season then it won't matter what Man Utd do, because they will drop points, it's the only weakness I think Man Utd possess.

Liverpool are also guilty of it though. Neither team has hit top gear yet. IT's going to be a brilliant few months for a neutral.

Villa deserve it, especially after just missing out on Europe a few seasons back.

I'd love it if Villa upset a top 4 team and earned a CL place. MON is a great manager too. Plus the core of their team is English.

Yeah we still havent hit top form (as you could maybe say about United too), and have dropped stupid points against shite teams (2pts from 6 off Stoke for example). Have def missed Torres' home goals.

Also got to agree its nice to see Villa up there, although I hate MON with a passion Ive also got a massive dislike for Arsenal in recent years (after them being my 'second' PL team for so long) and would even love it if Everton were to cost them a CL place!

That's funny, it's people like you who would never had put us top of the league into the new year. Put your rod away

Dissapointing to drop yet more points and specifically in light of benitez's comments, nice to see he's standing firm though and making another good point about gill being on the FA board There's a long way to go and I would echo the need for Torres to come back in and get straight back into form. Hopefully Alonso won't be out for too long too.

and this with benitez has done just the job he wanted.

That's your interpretation of benitez's reaction, and as for people hating united more than supporting there own team if fergie didn't moan and try playing games with other managers when he feels pressure then people wouldn't have so much to say about him

Perhaps fergie should worry about his own team aswell

You do realise that Fergie was the one who opened his mouth first...Rafa just replied with a lot more sense and in a way that didnt make him sound like some drunk senile old Scot.

Yes but now all he moans about is fergie, he has got under rafa's skin and it's taken his eye off the ball

Benitez should go back to concentrating on "coaching and training" or whatever it was because these reactions from him are exactly what fergie wanted

He hasnt got under his skin, as that was a calculated reply (hence the list he took out) designed to turn around what Fergie had said about us and back onto him, which it did. Fergie continually states that Chelsea are the main rivals for the title, yet still opens his mouth about us all the time.
