In all fairness, his isnt running yet.
Yeah but due to him wanting to run it on after market management.
Its looking almost complete and he has made some pretty swift prgress despite some set backs

I can see one of them not finishing for a while tbh
Did you look into the variable inlet on yours as I remember Warren mentioning this on that RR day.
So are you redevloping your current engine or building another?

I'm building another engine.. The Z18XE/X18XE1 has a variable inlet, I didnt have a digital speed sensor on my car at the RR day (cable driven) so my variable inlet never opened as the ECU thought the car was sat still all the time.

sorry, id just assumed from the way you were talking corners were being cut to make things cheaper which is normally a bad idea on conversions. sorry if that came across wrong, i didnt specifically mean you were ruff as fuck, its just what i thought was going on from what id read.
apologies.

right then as for all you mother*****s that think im a butcher and a badger i f***** doubt it infact far from it right what the problem is on a corsa b with a 1.2 8v or a 1.4 sport they all have 2 looms 1 for the starter loom n what not then they have 1 that goes to the drivers side kick panel where the ecu is mounted where as mobbys has 1 loom comes out just about the heater pipes like a standard corsa starter loom but it also has a big black plug on the end of after the ecu plug (which the ecu is mounted to the engine) now after fitting the engine and box back in i came to wire up the 2 looms and found none of the colours match and even the wireing colours on daves 1.8 are different to mobbys and warrens will be easier to wire up if hes using a go tech system which mobby aint hes using the siemens ecu on the 1.8 engine so im geussing mobbys car will already have a fuel pump relay wired up inside the car so i shudnt need to use the 1.8 relay but all i was asking is if anyone had any wireing digrams for the 1.2 16v car and a 1.8 engine as i can then trace the wireing and sort it out..
so if any of you wa****rs out there have a problem with me then i will be at pvs this year and you can take it up there if u want you will all see my car going down the strip qualifying for totb
but for those that want to help out then i will be very thankfull and i know mobby will be to

is it still running the 600-650bhp that it was when phil had it? was a nippy car back in the day phils. good luck with ten of the best. chip wants 11.9 or quicker for fwd this year to qualify i think.
and as for stupid remarks. mobby said it was done on a budget and cheaply. things done on a budget often end up in bodged jobs. sorry for makiing that assumption. i thought mobby himself was doing it didnt realise someone else was.

Oh and from more of a helpful point of view.. Could you give me all the details off the standard 1.2 16v ecu as I might be able to help you with a wiring diagram.

mikesc20let: Mobby says you told him his original ECU was Simens? I suspect its a Bosch Motronic M1.5.5 as thats the only reference I can find for the 1.2 16v, if it IS a 1.5.5 I have the pin outs:
http://www.dohc.co.uk/z20let/reference/Motronic.txt
Same colour codeing as the Simtec70.
But you are saying his Simtec70 loom (the 1.8 loom) doesnt have the same colours as mine? I've got THREE 1.8's and they all have the same loom colouring so either the scrappy has given you the wrong loom or its some how 'special'.
