You seem more bothered about not being able to drink watered-down pishbeer than the fact a guy was killed to warrant it.

you should have pissed all over him while he was cowering in the corner, but other than that not a bad effort.

I don't see any problem with what you have done. The guy is being abusive for no reason, and you genuinely feel threatened then you have to stand up for yourself. I have seen fights over much less.
I would much rather be dishing out punches than recieving them from some random in a pub toilet.

TBH good effort, put him in his place. I hate trouble making arseholes, should have chibbed him as well.
This happened to me as well, was sitting quite calm with some mates and then I spotted another mate walk in and a guy happened to be in the same or near line of site and he thought i was staring at him, so started saying "what are you looking at you prick etc etc" and his mate joined as well, I just looked away but no he was being persistant. Later on I made my way to the pisser and noticed he was following so decided to go outside and the twat started again, pushing me etc then took a swing at me and missed, so I though "fuck it" and smashed his face with 1 punch and down he went then he was like "sorry sorry blah blah" and his mate came out (obviously a planned attack 2 against 1) saw his mate on the floor and shat it, got straight out the way from me as I went back in to finish my brew.
Moral of the story - Give what they deserve.

lol at all this, it was a random happening in the toilets, that shit happens nearly every night in most towns, the odds of the police even getting involved are slim to none, even the doormen didnt bother. The guy was being abusive for no apparent reason, got taught a lesson so maybe he'll think twice before opening his gob on someone who might pull a knife next time.
People are way to pc nowadays, a man gets a bit of hiding for gobbing off and ppl are worrying about police and court matters lmao!

whether he was acting aggressively or not, you'd still get done for it. my brothers mate got done for assault last week because he headbutted somebody. despite there being 4 lads against him shouting that they were going to beat the shit out of him.

Where did this happen?
Aberdeens an odd place with some many different kind of folk going about.
Unfortunately, the majority of them are wankers.

I would probably hit someone in that situation aswell tbh, maybe it's not the right thing but I tend to think the same as colin that people shouldn't speak to you in that way if they don't want something to happen as a result. Basically if I felt threatened then i'd be inclined to act first.

This is all easy to say not being in the situation etc...
Its all about appropriate use of force. Not think going straight in for the headbutt was a bit strong? Coulda given the guy a kick to the "inner-leg" and walked away.
Assuming you'd tried to talk your way out of it, asked the guy to get out your way and genuinely felt that the only thing you could have done was to give the guy a smack, then I reckon you did the right thing.
Either that or you thought the guy was reaching for his pocket and had a weapon....

He was drunk
He called you a name, boo hoo...
Would I have beadbutted and punched him to the floor. No.
A punch maybe
But a headbut is a different ball game. There is no need.
Could you not have just turned around, and walked out of the toliet?
Could you not have just been prepared for a punch, but not actually done anything?
what about somethign more sublte like swiping their legs away so they go to floor then giving them such a verbal/scare whilst they are pinned down? After all, your one on one.
The person is DRUNK and you said they were totally off it. At what point if he tried to hit you, do you think you couldn't defend an inital punchy by a wasted guy...??
A drunk person is never hard to beat up, they are drunk and actionas are all over the place.
So no, i don't think you reacted at all well. Theres a time to be aggressive, and a time to just walk away laughing and knowing your the better man. Like that Toyota advert, a different class......
Had he had attempted to swing (again, he's p1ssed, and your in a toliet ffs ) you could have easily dealt with it then.
But a headbutt. Man, I wish i was that much of a thug..... Do you have a shaved head and a Staffordshire bull terrier too?

You were there, nobody on here was, you acted how you saw fit on the situation, how can anybody on a forum decide on the tension in the room or what the other lad might have done.

I'd of done the same thing##BUt more than likely poked him in the eye and punched him in the knob just so he felt like a proper 'tard for being a bellend in the first place,
Been in your situation before, it's not a nice place to be, someone was standing at the edge of the danceflor one night throwing empty glasses over the crowd,
I went up behind him and swiped the back of his legs and he ended up on his arse, and by that point you usually find that once a smart arse is on the ground he'll start getting all appoligetic,
