right im stuck, i got the old engine out pretty easy but i cant seem to get the new one in, i have left the gearbox in the engine bay anyone have any tips or ideas how to get it in?

take box out and attach to engine then put it all back in as one. makes thins 100x easier lol

Yeah as above...
attatch the Box - Or undo the box, Move it over, Drop the engine in and re-fit that way - Easier with it out IMO thats what i did
Why leave it in there anyway, you had another with the new engine all painted up to match? or is that a silly question?

i got the new engine in today after work will get pics of it tommorow when i wire it in

got the radiator and all the water pipes in, fan, and induction hose today , all i have to now is the wiring loom then start her up for the first time in about 4months

rightas aaron said i have the car running now, all running sweet with no problems,
while its been off the road i have done a few things to the car. firstly i found a gearknob at the scrappies out of a vectra
then i decided to spray my roof liner, sun visors etc to match my pillers
also gave her a wash tonight as she was dirty
next on list list is the cars booked into the bodyshop to have a few things done
