FYI - the splitter was from Welburn’s yard in Barnsley (had two from there now).

The other yards are 'Mels motor spares' 'Milton and Goughs' and 'Carlton Car Breakers'

Might be off on Friday so will keep my eyes peeled for anymore then S@m here can sell them on... lol

They painted or black plastic? (hopefully the latter)

It is a pain fitting them on your own, i taped the back up with masking tape and then fitted the fronts and then the backs

How are you fitting them?
I drilled two holes through the sill and put a bolt through and then screws front and rear.

ive got a fitting kit with them ( bag of screws)... the skirts seem to have dimples were your supposed to put the srews....

hopefully shouldn't be to akward.... might have to use some bonding stuff aswell to make all the edges flush....

shall see tomorrow!

two screws through the door sills is the way forward with the rep skirt, then two into rear arch and one into front arch

dont bother screwing them to the ridge under the car, as a)its a fucker to drill through,b) it will corrode and c) they just dont need it!

p.s how is the camber adjustable on your coilovers?

like that you put the bump strips back on, they suit the car, looked a bit bare without them

So during the afternoon i got round to fitting the gsi replica side skirts...

With a little help from the girlfriend and lots of tape i think they ended up looking pretty smart... really do tidy up the sills

thanks to 'haimsey' for the fitting pics/guide he sent me, i did it exactly the same, and painted my sills afterwards to stop rust occuring, cheers bud!

i also ordered a set of opel mudflaps which where also fitted thisafternoon!

so here's some pics of the work in progress:

also fitted some lockwood sill plates that i got off ebay...

they are little tacky maybe, with the 16v logo, but they cover up some of the light surface scratches from people getting in and out of the car
