Yeah I bought it from a Skoda dealers The salesman says it was taken in px against a 996 Turbo
[Edited on 27-03-2009 by Colin]
More to the point, why was a Skoda dealer selling a 996 Turbo?
I have no idea Ive a feeling the owner may sell his own cars through the garage Its wierd theres a stack of superbs & fabias with an Elise 111s, M3, another V8 M3 stuck at one end

Yeah its SMG - Flappy paddles or stick, or Auto if I fancy being lazy!!
I liked it, the short time I drove it today, a nice change from manuals.

what happens if you press up a gear on the flippy piddles, then down a gear on the stick at the same time?
can you try it and report back to me?

SMG 2 its the one I would buy too!
Same as csl its a conventional box essentially without a clutch pedal
Can even just stick it in drive and mooch along but wont be as good as a proper auto

it explodes
Another thing about the SMG box I like is the throttle blip on down change, it sounds unreal.

I might have to get a clean car thread going in the near future. Summer is upon us after all!!
Ive always wanted one from day 1 but for some reason started looking around them at other cars!! There dropping in price so much now, I certainly couldnt have afforded this car a year ago!!

good stuff for getting one anyway. i somehow dont think the novelty of the ford would last as long as the luxury and class of an m3.
your my new hero now that jr has died.
