Looking good.
That amount of colouring must be a pain to look after ? I have a design i want to get with a lot and worried about it when it scabs.

Yeah I reckon this is gonna be the hardest bit to heal, but I think he wants to go over all the black again when fully healed to get it a nice dark black

The best thing to use is Bepanthan, the nappy rash cream. My tattoo hardly scabbed over and was clear in about 4 days.

I have a fill on one, that has about 6 patches where the scab didnt heal
Hopefully it'll be alright, most artists offer free touch ups after its healed.
When do you think it'll be completed ?

Different with everyone. Some people are fine with it, some aren't. Does feel different on different parts of the body mind you.

The worst part was the colouring in right at the top of the shoulder right on the bone where theres hardly any skin or meat to cushion it

Hip is the worst in my opinion Basically if your a bit of a butter ball, most places wont hurt too much, if your boney then good luck
I'm the later and want something over my rib cage

TBH the only time I've really been in pain was on the sternum. The ribs felt a bit weird as could feel my whole chest vibrating but other than that I've always found it kind of relaxing
