Well, i have some new wheels waiting to be fitted, just trying to fix the adapters which came with the wheels as they were absolutely fucked The guy who'd had them before had completely stripped the threads and even had a bolt in which he'd cut halfway through So ordered some new bolts, now ive just got to try and re-tap the adapter. If that fails im going to have to buy new adapters
And this has all came at a time when im rapidly losing interest in it and cant really be arsed to spend the money on it
Hopefully get soem pics up when the wheels are on. If i still have it then

Well, i havent updated this in a while and ive made some more purchases tonight so thought it may be worth updating
First off, new wheels (were posted in GC a few weeks ago) BBS RC 041's
Bit of an impulse buy but i had to have them, all decent tyres yokohoma paradas 225/40/17 spaced out 30mm on the back and 25mm on the front. Really needs to go lower but i'd like to get a sump guard first as its been catching quite a bit.
Oh and theyve had new BBS Carbon look centres fitted since this photo was taken
Then tonight ive bought some new LED number plate lights, red lamin-x for the rear lights and some black plastic mirror covers, as the ones i have atm have a few scuffs and think it would fit in well with the dark theme
will get some pics up when theyre all fitted

Went to the local VW meet last night, and someone off the site took some photos so thought id put them on here
Since the last update ive made all red rears using lamin-x, and ive also got some amber side indicators
Still a few more bits to do and keep looking at a new interior, but im having trouble finding the right set in good condition

Yep Found out a couple of people i know at work went last month, so thought i'd tag along. But there were many sCeNestErs but a few nice cars turned up anyway.
Yeah, im happy with the rears but can always play around with them if i get bored have loads of smoked and red lamin x left!
its just hard deciding what to do next

That or get a new one and transfer all the bits over The engine is the main bit you're not happy with, so seems silly to keep throwing money at this one atm
I know there are bigger priorities in the future though so I understand your reasons for not doing it tbh lol.

How much risk is there in a 1.8T conversion in yours? And what costs are involved? Mileage is low on your shell, and it's in good nick and the right colour etc lol.
No interest in the Sprout - wish they were still running the scrappage scheme on vans tbh!

August!
Gave it a clean yesterday so I decided to take some pics this afternoon.
Had a few changes since the last pics too:
Removed the dice dustcaps, for some plain anti-theft Richbrook ones,
Removed the red lamin-x from the rear lights,
Black grill badge,
Relocated number plate to windscreen for a bit of a change, quite like it tbh
And my new leather interior! (thanks to Rich H for the help fitting them )
Plans for the future:
Sideskirts,
Lupo mirrors,
Wire up the heaters for the seats

Looking nice mate. Have you thought about blackening the rear VW badge or maybe carbon fibre-wrapping them?

Cheers rich, when did he take them?! not very happy with how these ones came out, I should really invest in a decent camera!
