If you can be bothered watch "Andrew Marr's: A History of modern Britian" to see how bad the Tories were/are.

I'll look into that.

In your opinion though, and Im not trying to trick you, why would it be 20x worse under the conservatives? And how are they anymore likely to be involved in corruption than labour given recent years events?!

I think he is contemplating not using his vote in the next general election because he has lost faith in the political system in our country. I know a few people who are not voting because they don't give a fuck who's in power anymore bacause they are all a bunch of robbing, scamming little pricks!

Cameron is a slimy tosser, and on that fact alone I wouldn't vote for them.

I don't think Labour have been any worse than any other government would have been in the same situation - its the system thats crap, not the people fronting it.

That said, I don't want to waste my vote, so perhaps liberal as they haven't got a chance anyway. Unfortunately our area doesn't have a representative for monster-raving-loony

You're right, they COULD change the system but as its all set up in their favour (see: expenses) why would they want to change anything?

The only reason expenses will change in the future is because the newspapers have been splashing it everywhere, but its been like that for years and years.

The problem is there is no-one really who would get my vote. Not seen a party who has the policies i'd like to see.

But i want to vote, but they are all lame.

Best thing we can do is for no one to vote..... dont give any of them a mandate to run the country untill we get widespread changes to the elctoral and party politics system.

Or only vote for independant mps who are standing on very specific issues.

They are all the same, the system is there to protect them and others like them- untill we change the sytem for the better nothing will really improve... who ever gets voted in will only scratch the surface - unless we make it clear to all poloticians that we will not give any government a majority unless they offer widespread change.

So I would urge everyone not to vote- its the only way we can force change......I know some people say not voting is ignoring our great democracy... but what sort of democracy do we really have when you can only elect one of two parties who are essentially both the same.

Everyone said it, no-one did it.

Thats because there are many people in this country who are both thick, and lazy and are happy to ignore everything that happens in the world as long as they can watch coronation street and britains got talent.

Things wont change unless we all come together and tell all our poloticians to get to fuk - Either vote in a minority party|(|no idea which one- dont care- cant be any worse than what we have had in my life time) or just dont vote at all untill we are offered a proper government rather than a load of pr hungry spin doctors - very unlikely to happen though I agree

Not just Labours fault- the Tories would have had exactly the same problems- it was the Tories who first sowed the seeds for public services to become privatised and opened the door for this country to basically be run by big business and finance- rather than by ts citizens and elected representatives.

Are yo honestly saying the Tories would have regulated big business and banking better? Kind of goes against their principles as conservatives

Aye thats it blame the Scots when things get bad! Gordon Brown is Scottish, yes! But the vast majority of MPs in the House of Commons is English so don't start pointing the finger at us! Fred Goodwin and his crew fucked RBS yes I would agree with that, he is a twat! But HBOS is mainly run with all the Halifax policies!

I agree - but In my opinion this is a turning point time for the world and Britain.

Our banking system has failed due to greed, our political system has failed due to greed, our public services are shite because of greed...... are we really going to just ignore all this and vote in another party to fail in exactly the same way? Another party to help rebuild all the big companies who have fuked us al over royally.

Surely we should all be demanding change in a big way. I do have faith that eventually people will stand up and realise we are being fuked and actually do something about it rather than just plod along with the same old shit.

Makes me fukin depressed to think we will vote the tories in and let them do it all again
