Fuck me that hurt!!
Carl, have a few seconds more rest. Works for me. I didn't think I'd nail the last set but did.
I'll be back to set one on column 3 on week 3 so hoping I can start getting nearer to completing them, i'll be on week 3 at least another 2 week I bet.

Just done my day 3 there, 11, 15 ,9, 9, 14, could have done a couple more on the last set but I can feel a twinge just above my elbow and don't want to hurt myself.

back to beginning of week 3, managed 14,18,14,14, 21 with the 60 second rest inbetween, had slightly longer before the last set.
Just looked back and that is a whole 6 more than last week. I'll be surprised if I get near 100 after 6 weeks!

Definatly, I can't see me getting passed week 4, just totalled it up at about 160 press-ups in the session before you move upto week 5 (on the 3rd column) considering i'm on about 80 now that is just daft! We'll see though.

I used to be able to do about 68 in 1 go, I remember something I was entering required me to do about 68 in a minute or something, and run a certain distance in a certain time etc...
These days I can do about 15-20 ish, but my wrists hurt before the rest of me does.

Didn't get chance so did them today, Day 2
rest 90 seconds between each SET (longer if required)
set 1 20
set 2 25
set 3 15
set 4 15
max = 20
Had a longer rest before end set and had a slightly wider grip that usual, most i've done in one session.

14, 16, 12, 12, 17
Thought I was doing quite well even up till the last set 12, was doing them much faster than I was able to last week.
Got to about 12 on the last set though and could hardly move
Struggled through the minimum 17.

are you noticing any differences yet nath, either phyiscally (chest bigger / more defined) or the fact you can do them easier?
I started this a few days and have done the first 2 days of Week 1 column 3. but I'm entrigued to see how much 'easier' it will get / what it will do.

At the end of week 4 you have to do the 'initial test' again, so I'll know for sure with that. But they are getting easier. I did the 19 on my initial test with alot of difficulty. Now I'm doing that much as part of my daily training. Not sure about physical differences though. Probably a little bit. Shouldve taken photo's or something I guess.

22, 30, 20,20 then 16. 120 second rest.
I'm thrashing them out though was doing them a lot slower before but there is no way would progress to 100. Got to repeat wk3 again, will be inline as it will be the actual third week of doing it. I can tell the body is a lot more used to doing them now.
