It's not just Corsa owners.

Ebay is full of it.

What about the people who laugh at something and actually say "lol"

People who say "mayte" piss me of, people who use text talk whilst speaking to me in person annoy me to. For example, "BRB" or "OMG!"

Prob just lazyness.

OR my other opinion.

I really think kids (17yr -21yr old) are border line retards these days. What do they get tought at school.

I always thought I was utter pish at English, especially spelling, but some young folk make me look like a genious.

I'm getting a grumpy old bastard.

This thread has lightened my mood.

People who have "Brought" a car wind me up

I honestly think that some acronyms have a point on the internet. I tend to only use IMHO and IIRC, only to end a sentance without having to write the full statement.

Slightly varying from the topic however, who still texts full words and sentences with punctuation ? I find most people who text me dont. My best guess is that, when phones could only send 1 page long texts and everyone was on pay as you go, people would try and fit as much in as possible. This has then just become a culture that we could really do without.

The girlfriends dad was complaining about emails, he still uses fully punctuated, paragraphed layouts and gets shot down for wasting time

when i text i usually use full words and punctuation. the only ones i shorten are "coz", "tho" and "gonna". oh and i miss the "g's" off words ending with "ing".

Too true. Makes me glad I went to Bolton School, even if I was mocked at the time.
