Fuck me it was quick, but it didn't pass me. Cars were as equal as equal can be.

If you are being owned by a clio on the straights you need to get a faster car.

A Corsa C is put together at least 7 million times better than a clio.

1.8 cs are fair nippy, if budget allows, get a 1.7 cdti though.build quality is expected of a sub 10k car from spanking new.
clios have a weird power delivery, interiors are horrid and trims fall off. clutch is weird as fuck as well. look nice on outside though.
honda is alright, but everyone will think your name is kendo and you arrived here on a banana boat with land of the rising sun tattood on your back.
end of the day kid, its your decision though, so get what YOU want too get.

I think all the 2.0 hatches are as fast as eachother really, the VTi will stick with a CTR to about 100mph but after that just drop off whereas the CTR will pull to about 145.
The difference is the hondas handle slightly better and dont break even after hundreds of thousands of miles of 8000rpm abuse.
Pish,a Civic Vti will not keep with a CTR.No chance.

I drive a 1.2 SXi C atm, lovely car, that is quicker than my old 1.2 8v B, I really want a 1.8 SRi C. Yeah the Clio's are nice and quick, but hell they don't last on fuel and also there French, so will just fall apart has you go up the road, French quality is shite. My Uncle owned a Clio Sport for 4 weeks, and it went in the garage 3 times cos of parts just not working, plus I find the ride in the Clio very uncomfortable, and I think I learnt a lesson on stiff suspension from my old 1.2 8v. So i'd rather own the SRi imho.
