I really hate standard rear lights, theirs too many colours at the back of the car with them on, and the only aftermarket ones ic an find are lexarse, so theyll be staying for now
I had a post-97 rear but it was too damaged to use, so im looking for another one, but im in no rush

I did the majority of the filler work myself, i prepped the whole car, amsked it up but gave it to Kev at work to paint (We repair cars for insurance, so ehs one of the best)
It wouldve cost me nothing, but i gave him £100 for time/electricity for the oven etc etc

No chance Andy, the laquer had run down to the dip in the bumper, and them some of it made a bid for freedom and made its way down underneath
the run was about 3ft long, by 4 or 5 inches down, it was pretty epic

This looks so much better than when you first started - impressed
Lights look better too. Once the exhaust is sorted, it'll look great

Went and did some work to her last night,
Fitted my rear OMP brace i got off a 3dr at my local scrappy
Side shock absorber trim thingymabobs cut so the brace can pass through:
And now for all you that say "Their pointless they do sweet fcuk all youve wasted your money" etc etc, your wrong
It acts as a brace for my sub and amp, totally solid now, no more slidey slidey round the boot:
And also, could you get a better place to hang your air fresheners?

If i go any mower on the rear, i think i jump over the line from practicality to unuseable
Thats for saying its ncie thougn, i get slated for having a 83764654 door , but imo, i like them better than 3 doors
EDIT:- In that last pic id just jacked the front up to lower the opposite side rear down so i could get my shock top nuts back on (jacked O/S/F up so N/S/R took most of weight) so the front looks really high in them pics

Get ready for a budget update
Started out on Monday at work, Green N reg Corsa came in for a back end shunt, turns out it was too far gone to repair (suprise suprise) so the insurance wrote it off, anyway i noticed it had a pair of silver Depo headlights, so i went to the scrappy, got myself a set of standard ones, took them into work, and swapped them on the sly whilst no-one was looking
Stage 1 complete: Steal Depo's
Next i thought to myself that ive heard of people heating up standard sets of Depo's and removing the glass, so i thought id give it a go to try and make myself a tinted set, however i got told that you need them upto around 100*c for afew minutes, which i couldnt do, so i chucked them in the paint baking oven right infront of the blowers for half an hour at 60*c, WHALLA! the glue heated enough to melt, and i prised off the glass
Stage 2 complete, remove glass
Then, i seperated the inside surrounds:
Next step was to sand down the inside silver surrounds and give them a coat of primer, and matt black aerosol that i borrowed from work
Stage 4 complete, TINTAGE!
After they dried, i bonded them back together with windscreen sealer that i again...borrowed from work
Then i fitted them, WHALLA! a set of 110% FREE smoked Depo headlights, building on a budget!

Small update, bonnet's been taken off after some tool has dented it at work, wasnt a big dent but stood out seen as how id just rmeoved every dent from it
Anyway, some better pics of the Depo's, with her showing her power plant
And hopefully getting my private plate transfered over to it next week, will hide the age of the car quite well (incase anyone doesnt know, my name is Dave Rome, D ROME)

Seen as how gay Matt bumped this up, ill get my arse into gear and update it...ish
Cambelt changed as the car has no history with it, so no idea when/if it was changed
Removed the Vectra leather rear headrest's, and fitted some Calibra ones, so they match the front, but their still pointless as their too far back lol
And then some overall shots
That was it over a month ago, its now tucked up in the garage awaiting me to pass my test/turn 17, only thing thats getting changed is the shocker sticker is coming off when i can be arsed to go up there
