Not in the first half, they had you under control :/ Second half admittedly you were very impressive and controlled the game but dont m ake out like youve played brilliantly throughout both of your opening matches!

Man Utd

I've got Chelsea to win the league, Man Utd and Liverpool don't look good at all.

Burnley will stay up this season, play football the right way.

Spurs have a decent squad, I hope they really push on this season.

Defoe was immense! All 3 goals were good, third was a peach!

The first game they defended and defended and we could of scored a fair few but didn't.

I saw the replay on Chelsea TV beating Sunderland and we was superb. I assume you only saw highlights if any not the whole game like me.

Defoe looking shit hot right now.

Mwhahahahahah!

Right, so if Ive worked this out right....we got beat by a decent side, and are now out of the title race. United get beat by a newly promoted relegation favourite team so are...bound for mid-table?

Johnson has played 2 games for us....1 goal, 1 pen won and one goal set up. I think thats why we signed him tbh.

We (Spurs) looked great tonight, we keep on going like this then we will do well, just need to up our away form against middle of the league teams, we do fine against the top usuals just fall to the mid teams!

You did play well but as Hansen pointed out, Hull defensively were very poor last night. To put things into perspective you have played well in both your opening two games, but, dont forget that both teams you have played have played very poorly.

Big test is when you play decent sides away from home.

Quality performance for the red men, and for owen coyles men Johnson having a great start, some of our youngsters had great games also and gerrard/torres had good games.

Defoe took all of those goals really really well, he looks full of confidence.

Really pleased with our unbeaten start. 7 points from 3 games is a great return as I expected us to struggle this year and turn into Leeds.

Really need to get some players in soon though as a couple of injuries and we're fucked

Agreed, altho his defending against Spurs wasnt great... as said before, very much like Sagna IMO, let him go forward and he'll do well, keep him at the back and he'll struggle! Hopefully our new solid CB partnership stays in place and Sagna and Clichy can keep gettign forward

Im hoping as part of our back line (which has been great for the past few seasons) and with Masch just in front of them, he'll do fine defending wise.

Thought we were immense. Everyone is quick to right Burnley off, mostly those that have never seen them play. We play football, but unlike sides such as West Brom we can mix it up and defend when we need to. We were really difficult to break down, Utd could have played another 90mins and wouldn't have scored. Great win, atmosphere was quality, bring on Everton this Sunday.

Fingers crossed, think we will stay up. Home form will be important, if we are good at home like last season then we could finish mid table.
