Its got a gear indicator, not to tell you what gear your in.....telling you what gear you should be in.

Its disgusting!!

Tells you what gear you are in on the latest A3 but at the same time it will be telling you what gear it thinks you should be in for best fuel economy if you aren't already in it.

the gear selector thing is in the FACELIFT R56 I think, I had a r56 and it didnt have it but when i got a car from BMW when mine was in for servicing it had it. Its part of that dynamics shit they crack on about.
