when i first needed glasses i wouldn't have recommended contacts joe, but really now i would all the way. so much better and not as daunting as you might think

Only reason I think I might need them is when I'm driving I get achy eyes especially at night

Ahh I see what you mean (no pun intended ) I've never had to do eye drops, can't stand that sort of thing. Getting bits in them ftl A couple of weeks ago I was underneath the car and got all kinds of gunk in my eye, even though I had goggles on Took AGES to get out.

Depends on what you are using them for.
I wouldn't wear contacts unless I really had to. I've been a contact lenses wearer for 8 years now and I found my eye sight has deterioted faster. Mainly because I over wore them etc.
for night driving deffo stick with glasses as they will have a MAR coating and reduce glare.

aye fad, i found things way brighter when i switched over to contacts. used it now though.
the optician said today that my eyes seem to have slowed down deteriorating (if not stopped altogether) which is nice
