no because a gti isnt the top model, infact the 150 mk4 gti isnt even close. you have forgot the v5 and 4 motion also. top model vs top model
r32 vs vxr i know which i would choose anyday.

i paid 4500 for my v5 13 months ago, it had 80k on the clock, cd changer, climate control, heated leather blah blah, 170bhp, its a nice comfortable, well equipped and well built car, thats been reliable. no its not a bloody 'drivers' car, its fat and 'wallowy' in the corners, but you find me something thats more comfortable that this, with the same power.
and no, not a bloody astra.

They're stupid enough to make shit cars, tell people they're good and sell them for a fortune with a tape player and no a/c.
Wait, that's actually quite clever. There must still be a little bit of Hitler in that company.
Sounds like apple.

And look at what they are worth after 3 years too, bet there isn't a lot in the depreciation tbh.
Still think you should compare the VXR with a GTi though.

But yes that advert is a shit load of fuck.
Just like a Golf? What boring? Bland? Slow? Unreliable? Been living off the badge for the past 3 mks of Golf as they have all been shit? Mk6 was so bland I wondered how anyone could get excited about a GTi anymore.
If someone tells me they own a Golf, I'm only interested if it's a decent VR6 or a Mk1 or Mk2 the rest are horseshit.
I own a golf, mk4 GTi 1.8t Its, not bland or slow.

Any car can be made fast and fun with enough money spent on it. This is a discussion about standard cars.

bitchiness in this thread.
the advert makes me laugh. ''just like a golf''. well i hope it isn't just like a golf because i don't want a golf...
i bet they'd comare my focus to the golf by saying it has 18'' wheels, just like a golf

No way does a Coupe way that much. I'm suprised the Golf is that heavy, I'd expect around 1100kg for the Mk4.

I thought the car in the track part of the advert looked a lot like a BMW 1 Series?
