Wouldnt of thought so. I think he did do him but the ref will of clearly saw it so expect nothing more to happen.

I'm not sure why Alan Wiley didn't do anything about it when it happened, it was directly in front of him, so he must of seen it.

Why the hell would a player pirouette when someone is near him from a throw in, especially with his arms outstretched.

As I said earlier, you're allowed to hit out at Beckford because he is a badger.

He tried to make out that he was trying to turn him seems Beckford was right up his ass - Im not sure thats the case but he did seem to go on and on about thats what he was doing.

Masch isn't tall enough to hit beckford in the head by doing the turn he told the ref he had done

Clearly makes a fist n gets him in the back of the head.

I did think the same about his height.

And he didnt get him with his fist, was more his wrist/back of his arm if anything.

That's the bit that made me laugh, he did it about 10 times then beckford stood up and you just thought, hey up you cant reach there without trying

TBH he hardly touched him in the end (I know that makes no difference when it comes to punishment), but when Beckford realised nothing was going to happen a miracle occurred and he could jump right back up

watched the replay this morning. and i stand by what all the pundits have said

were damn unlucky to lose that game. had so many chances and took liverpool to the wire. it was a decent liverpool team with fringe players that normally ocupy the bench at premier league games. thought every player had a decent moment.

sure beckford fluffed his chance. but the goal should have stuck. doyle's header should have hit the back of the net. the atmosphere was awesome, really wish id have gone. but there are so many positives we can take into the rest of the season. last year ankregen wouldnt have saved the point blank header from riera and rui marques wouldnt have been as good as kisnorbo was last night.

a humbling defeat but i like what i see.

It wasnt THAT good a team really, Degen is lucky if he is on the bench for us, same goes for Dossena who is 3rd choice at LB behind Insua and Aurelio. The Greek guy is our 4th (5th along with Ayala imo) choice CB. Carra and Masch are starters for us so give you that. Was Spearing's first ever start for us and doesnt make the bench often. Babel, Riera and Ngog all make the bench, although all have not even made the squad in a number of games this season.

Not sure why Rafa decided to risk Gerrard for 15 mins at the end?

I expect for the crowd, had just over 5,000 there. Plus wasnt that much of a risk, he was bang up front and doing next to no tracking back.

Welbeck Got to see him briefly afterwards, nice lad.

Macheda and Welbeck got under each others feet, played better once we went down to 10 men and got rid of Macheda

Not really, even though he scored that goal against Arsenal he was never ever rated by Liverpool fans like Macheda is being by United's.

As I was saying the other day, he looked worse than shocking when the reserves played each other.
