Bloody right I will be, I had some handling issues last time, because it turned out the seat base was broken, which made it feel like a jelly Thank you it will be bigger and better this year.

I haven't driven it for months, and my every day car is a lot slower now, but seems to have loads more power

I wanted it on the road this weekend because I'm on call next week, and won't be able to use it

I've got a few things sorted on the van, oil leak, and poor running, but could still do with a tune.

The head gasket is on it's way out on the Sport, so I've being buying stuff, for when I've got the head off, because it's toooo slow

It's even worst getting out of the van then into it

The velos inlet I'm pretty happy with.

Been messing with the van alot, trying to get it to run better.

I fitted some trumpets today.

I also swapped back to the O.E cams because I've been having trouble with it running smooth below 2.5rpm
I also killed one of my fans when I closed the bonnet, I had it a bit high and close to the bonnet catch, which smashed it to bits

I went on a Rolling road day, earlier with mig in the black one.

Not bad for standard 1.6
Since it had done so well I throught I'd treat it.

It's already got the holes for the heated seat switches.

Thanks, the highest of the day was a 330BHP Holden
I bought it with no service history, it's always sounded good from cold, which says a lot

It will be in TV one day with my ugly mug

Been playing with the van today, trying to get to run better, while dodging the rain
After speaking to Dale about sorting the timing out, he came up with a good idea, by useing the o.e pulleys to mark the cam at the correct postion, then refitting the belt with vernier pulleys and re-adjusting it. It seems to be running alot better now I also moved the clips up on the needles to richen it up a bit.

It has a lot less power with the standard cams, I'm gonna run it with them at Combe in a month. Got my track time already

A little update, I tried to fit my Irmscher back box but it was a right pig to get off
Anyway I broke the flange off the cat and manifold So I had to replace both of them
Luckly I had a 4-1 manifold I bought the other month at the VBOA Spares day.

To anyone going to change their exhaust manifold it's a right pain in the arse to get off, the new one was pretty easy to get back on which was nice.

Cool pop over and say hello spanky.

I was fighting like hell with it, because the back box was bit of a good fit

It was only the flange, and it is like 12 years old.

Looks like I'm gonna have to take the Sport to Combe.

I fitted my new wheels and tyres today, and went to a breakers yard, and got some brakes from a Calibra, because the ones on the black one are wrapped pretty badley

I also got a Tigra scuttle panel, and a spare cam cover. I'm impressed because the pads and discs look new

I know it needs a good wash, but I'll do it once I've fitted the inlet manifold, and other bits

I still can't get it to run right It's started to pink now, and I haven't got time to get it sorted before next. But I reckon I can get my other one up to scratch, it might not be fast but I'm sure I won't have to fix it afterwards

This is why I haven't fitted the bushs yet.

I've bought a brand new set of Irmscher side skirts, not sure if to get them paint or keep them the same as the arch trims

Fitted a Tigra coin tray, man they are hard to pull off the carpet
I also gave the Sport a polish today

Moobs in the shiney bonnet shot
