Id actually drive a Lada tbh. Love old russian cars haha. Most of the Scandinavian countries are uber strict on engine mods. Norway, sweden, denmark. as well as Switzerland and i believe portugal too (not 100% sure though)

wait till 2010 then vosa will have to check it and check that all suspension components are e marked and then you will get a certificate and document number which you will need to keep otherwise you will get 6 points and unable to get an mot.

So thats kinda like an SVA test for a kit car.
Kinda makes sense i guess, before a new model of car can be sold by a dealer, it must be type aproved by vosa to make sure it is legal. This would include the suspension. Alter the suspension and it no longer comes under the type approval. Kinda like how a kit car has to undergo a singe vehicle approval.

its perfectly ideal way to stop retards driving around in bodged up conversion cars and killing people. im 100% for it. stops the amateur idiot from fitting suspension wrong etc aswell.

Chopped springs are about as dodgy as replacing the springs with jaffa cakes.

Go fuck yourself, how about that. Not everyone who drives modified cars are "boy racer chav yob's" you daft prick.
I hope it doesn't get ridiculously hard to get the car checked and passed.

shouldnt be annoyed though. if pay for all the vosa tests and certificates each year before your mot, it wont affect you. just the other idiots that dont who probably shouldnt be allowed on the road in their bodged up cars anyway.
