Apparently its got something to do with it being in a park and bringing the park in to the stadium and blending the stadium in to the park...at least thats the shite the architects said

Its not your symmetrical modern looking stadium alla Emirates, so yeah can see what you mean.

But then again its no different to the current stadium, or 90% of others out there where the stands have evolved over the years and are all different.

looks decent apart from i think it would have been better as a bowl sorta thing with the kop seperate

or maybe even the top teir running all the way through 3 stands leaving the kop and the bottom tier of the opposite stand not attached to the corners

Im certain Ive read that the corners (including those to the Kop) can be filled in within the current framework of the stadium - although given those pics are of a 73k seater I dont think their is any need just yet as would probably give us 90k+ seats.

No I get you, basically a 3/4 bowl and then one big Kop (I actually think this is how Spurs are having their new one).

It could end up being something very similar if we expanded in the future.

Thats basically Emirates with one single tier stand.

The problem with those is you cant expand them without major work due to the style of the roof.

I prefer that but still prefer it if the stands go round all connected with the same levels. All looks the same but I like symmetry

Id expect it has taken some big inspiration from the best parts of stadiums such as the Emirates and also all the new stadiums in the US that HKS have designed.

Almost. Your standard out of the box bowl is:

At least Emirates has some curves to it and a bit of flare. The above are just SHITE.

Thats a small ground standard Bowl.

Looks at the likes of the Reebok, City of Manc Stadium, etc. - they are all the same as the Emirates.

Im not holding it against them, its the cheapest way to build whilst making the most out of the smallest amount of space - it just looks shite.

That Spurs one looks quality like with the fuck off stand. Pitty they dont introdcue safe standing over here then it could be like Dortmund.

Ah right sorry.

Thats with the safe standing. Not sure how many it would hold if they had to have seats but obviously it would reduce.
