cant say, i just heard you do £20 every two days...
id like to think it could do 30mpg? and maybe abit more on a motorway run?
22mpg sounds like what my corsa used to do, and thats was slow. though had the same injectors! lol

I dont expect it to be good on fuel anyhow .
Ask anyone that owns one, not one person will say they are even half good on fuel and i know how you drive warren so dont expect much
stevens was just as bad ! arden blue si still best by far !

You can map the 1.9's yourself so a 1.9cdti with a free map will be just as fast as a gsi and good on fuel, and newer.

I do 26.8mpg according to the trip computer, thats just around town, no motorway driving, mixture of normal driving and foot down.

see about 208bhp and 300lbft on standard engine
but i want a car for 6months, something i prob wont beable to afford after i been travling due to fuel costs
and id want to keep it, but i want a car for 6months, sell and go traveling
and iv decieded again for an astra gsi, few tweaks, again inc a map, again which il do myself, and got a quick car for not alot of money,

Ive got Eibachs on mine, can't fault them really, got the car like it so can't comment on it compared to standard springs.
It sits a little lower but is still comfortable to drive, I think my Corsa handled better still
Im also planning a RARB and a set of Bilstein shocks, a few people have recommended it to me as I don't really fancy Coil overs, so Im going to give that a go.

Not on a gsi but i had ebaiches on the ctr. Made it sit 100% better and didnt wallow about. You have been in it and the ride was quite nice.

You sure about the mapped bein quicker bit. I have come against a mapped ctdi astra and there bloody quick. been in my mates gsi a few times with 230bhp and its very poor for the power output.
