I took my girlfriend there as a 21st birthday present and tbh it destroyed our relationship, she finished with me last week

Too much to soon Robbo, I told you that at the time.
I'm quite shit at advice, but when it comes to relationships I know how women work.

No wasn't that so much Ollie, just fell out whilst we were there - so tired and weather wasnt great and things not been the same since, argued a bit since we came back and now she says she doesnt want to be with me anymore. Literally cannot be any more gutted and not sure what to do now but don't think there is any hope for us

i do, yup. and 8 months isnt a great deal of time in the grand scheme of things but as said, both fell very quickly and made a lot of plans; maybe in future i need to really try to take things a lot slower

Can someone explain to me the fascination with New York please?
I don't get it? It's a big city and big cities stink and are annoying.
I'd rather go to York.

Ok, interesting.
I would rather waste my holiday on seeing something interesting though, like an American Civil War battlefield?

I get it, I went to Berlin to see bulletholes in walls, I suppose people go to New York because they think they are Sarah Jessica and want to live like Princess Diana.
