Yup, pway majors. Piss easy work up here, all single line, never out when theres a train in the section etc. £16k basic, but theres a roster premium etc, think it ends up around £22k a year with the overtime. Only work 4 day weeks, 35 hours. Have to do a few sundays and nightshifts though.

We get a few odd weeks of 12 hour shifts, 6 days, thats where the money is really. I do three 9 hour shifts and one 8 hour, pretty cushy really.
Im off night shift now until march, they try to avoid doing it during the winter. Means doing two sundays a month rather than one

20 (but not for much longer )
Worked as a temp at Argos in '06 for two months I think.
Then two years at a local Co-op, first year mainly till monkey and other general stuff then second year I took on the frozen foods section
3 months and 3 weeks at Anglo Welsh Waterway Holidays last summer, loved the job most of the time, and working outside in the epic weather was win/win.
Now about 10.5 months at a Building Services consultancy as a Mechanical Engineer. Good job with nice perks and the company keeps on winning awards and that
Numberwang!
