Admittedly tyres are the wrong size but MEH!

Small update(s)

Bought and fitted new mesh grill (thanks Ross!)
Pics woooo!

Opinions? Oh and the badge looks like this close up...

Also started a boot build/wiring sort/re-trim. Should look good when done!

I'd opt for either the 17s or Tigra 5 spokes (the "new" Corsa SRi wheels).

Looking good anyway Sam! Get in touch soon mate.

Couple of updates...

Took some pictures the other night, but forgot to post them up...

Then a bigger update...

Packages in my room, what could be in them...?

It's wheels woop!

Vectra SRi 16" wheels to be exact!

Tyres aren't on yet, but trial fit anyway...

But I'm impatient! So I take them to be fitted...

And finally, a quick before/after

Opinions?!

Wheels look alright mate but should of had a smaller profile tyre on them to pull them off.

The softstars i have for sale would have looked better

Agreed

this is a marmite car.photohops make the wheels look good but on the car they look abit dated.maybe it needs smaller tyres or lowering and even a wheel colour change to make them vectra weels work but softstars would make it look the bollocks

Hmmm. Personally don't think softstars would work. They're a very OEM looking wheel imo and I needed something Vaux that still stood out as the Irmscher kit is quite eye-catching.

On top of that, I paid £90 delivered for the Vectra wheels as opposed to £200+ for softstars. Tyres are 195/45/16s - smallest I can go without having issues with the front bumper scraping on speed bumps. Same applies for lowering the front more. Plus I wasn't prepared to spend £200 for new 195/40 tyres when I had four fine 195/45s already.

May powder-coat the wheels white eventually, or get the Corsa D SXi alloys I've been after for a while. Either way I'm happy

eBay - although you can't get the same design as mine anymore - they're slightly different and not as good I think.

Cheers bud, refurb would be nice, but can't afford it atm. Going out to clean the car in a bit so hopefully they'll look a bit better haha!

Yeah - I rushed when putting the badges on and didn't think about it grrrr! Will get round to swapping them at some point!

Muuuuuuuuuuuuch better on those wheels mate, slightly lower profile tyres would have been ace, but understand your reasons against that!

Get them redone in hyper / high power silver at some point when funds allow.
