Its good you have it all sorted out.

try getting a mortgage down here on a 3 bedroom detached house, young people down here have no hope.

Living on the southcoast and house prices are fecking stupid
My parents house was 18k when they bought it and now its worth 300k plus (i know how money changes) but sometimes i think wtf and wanna move to another country

Thats the only reason we can afford a mortgage - location. 30k a year (joint) anywhere further south of here would just about allow us to run a car, let alone a mortgage and our own place

i know what you mean mate.

my dad paid 74k for this house, 15 years ago. was a 3 bed semi with a 100ft+ rear garden and a huge side plot.

now, a huge extension later, massive garage at the bottom of the garden, 2 more bedrooms, another bathroom, every single room made bigger and renovated it's worth 400k

some people have all the luck
