You keep saying about this HG being replaced but have you not read that since Will has had the car,hes drove it without any coolant/water in the system. This will cause the HG to go again if it has been driven for a period of time with no coolant/water.
Check the system everyday Will and take note if the coolant level is dropping. If it is then something aint right.
it wont be the head gasket because running it with no coolant wont make the headgasket automaticly go
if it was the headgasket
you heaters wouldnt be working
there would be white smeg under your oil cap
it would be missfireing
and all round running like a bag of shite

it might be, but I know fk all about cars
a brand new thermostat was put in a day or so befor you got the car
could of been some air in the system presurising it too much
keep a eye on the coolant will
and check for white creamy stuff under the oilcap

No,it wont automatically go,but not once have i said that.It all depends how long hes drove it with no coolant and how hot the engine has got.
Why should he have to check for white creamy stuff under the oilcap??Youve already stated above that it wont be the HG thats gone. But now your making out that its a possibility.Make your mind up.

Apart from the engine trouble, a gorgeous car indeed! All credit to the previous owner.

if someone called me up after me selling them a 12 year old car with no warranty or gaurantee complaining about something breaking i would tell them to do one, if you want a gaurantee then buy from a garage
he said he doesnt have a clue about cars, so who checked the car over mechanically before he bought it?

I serviced it last month so i wouldnt bother with that to be honest.
100% It was working perfectly when i sold it. As said, it could be a million different things, but it was running nice and perfect when i had it! I used it every day upto will collecting it.
As for the not starting, i honestly dont have a clue why its done that :s, not once in the 2 years i have had it or any other car has that happened to me, very strange.
If you are going to a garage, dont go to vaux, find a nice friendly local one where they know what they are doing!

It sounds like the cam or crank sensors fooked in the video you put up, that's what my car did when the crank sensor had gone on it!
