I work in Building Services Engineering, basically doing CAD work most of the time. They're putting our salary reviews off until June when the accounts come back so we can see how much money is left after the high rollers take their bonuses. I had better get a pay rise as I'm on £1020/month BEFORE tax at the mo.

A sandwich for Budgie from the corner shop - £2.99
Not realising you've just offered him some man juice - Priceless.
Went up to the one in Oxford and forgot it shuts at 1 on Wednesdays  So had to come back, drive straight past work, and carry on to the other post office (which is probably closer tbh) and use that one
On the way back from Oxford, there's a bit where it goes from 30 to 50, and I saw this Astra H gradually getting closer behind me in the 30 bit, so I changed down to 3rd in preparation for the 50 bit. Sure enough they went for it, so my foot went to the floor and I left them behind Corsa 1 - Astra 0
