oh right then. I never knew that an increased rev limit turned a gear box into a long ratio one. Cool.

I meant its either a very long 5th gear or he has a high rev limit. Didn't mean an increased rev limit changes gearbox ratios. And since he has a rev limit of 7.5k. He must have a long 5th gear.

im not saying what your car can do. I am just saying that a 2.2 bar map sensor will not be able to read at those pressures. I fully believe you will see 145 to 150 in 5th.

So lets get this straight.

1) You've got a corsa with a C20LET
2) Its an animal that can wheel spin at 140mph
3) You did all the mods.
4) but its at someones garage.
5) You didnt fit the gearbox, but you did everything else.
6) You built this amazing car but never felt the need to take a photograph and neither have any of your friends felt the need even though its an absoloute ANIMAL?

lol come on this has gone on far enough, well i was told when i bought the ecu that it could read upto 30psi

i can only go on the reading that my boost gauge gives

i didnt put the box in but it has had a fair amount of work on it

and when i get it back from the mechanics i will post it up and get a video

2) Yes - but to stop confusion it not like i get to 140 then oh it spins thats making it spin at the start of 5th gear and working my way up to it
3) i bought the parts and my mecahnic fitted them
4) Its at my mechanics garage getting track ready
5) I bought it with the gearbox and engine already fitted
6) It is rusty at the min and i havent had chance because i work for a living and its always at the mechanics

But you've had the chance to take it out on a run and get it upto 140mph? Thats not exactly the sort of thing you do just "nipping it round the block"..

you dont have to prove anything robo. Dave said his 1.8 corsa was as fast as 20xe and when given chance at pod he chickened out of getting these cold hard on paper facts so i wouldnt worry about it.
