just need to wait to test the components to make sure they are not fried.
You should be fine, my car set on fire from a shorted wire and was smoking for a good minute or two before I could rip the wire off the battery and all it did was fry a hole in the side of the battery so you should be fine

i rarely go up queensway as the speedbumps are too big for me to get over without scraping the splitter.

little update,

i stripped it all down again last night because i wasnt happy about how the alternator was sitting. Once stripped i started putting everything back on for the last time. (hopefully)

I polished the intake pipe up, fuel rail, alloy tank cleaned the header tank. i installed the pump and relay and mounted them both.

pics will be up in a bit.

entire cost is below 4k for everything down to tie wraps.

ill get some vids once courtenay have mapped it, atm it has a 'under load' limit of 5600.

only thing that needs sorting is a new alternator

well, ive found the problem with the relays, well which one is nackered i mean, so i need to re-order one tomorrow. Im going to test a working one tonight to make sure thats defo the issue.

the alternator is ordered, i got another 2nd hand one(probably should just get a new one) but its was £40 delivered.

the rest of the car is done and i was enjoying the ride until it blew a fuse lol, stuck in the middle of traffic blocking the road for 10 mins as i tried to figure out what was wrong with it. lol
