On an Old Mk5 Escort I had

- Black tights wrapped over rear lights instead of tinting spray
- Badly tinted Indicators (once I had eventually saved enough to buy tint spray)
- A smashed XR3i/RS2k Bumper with badly attempted repair work and rattle can paintwork
- Gold Mesh
- Numerous 'Zetec' badges to tell people it had 16 valves...
- Shit interior trim paintwork...
- Poorly attempted underbonnet paintwork

Then I bought my Cavalier that looked like this...

I failed;

Then shunted the front end, spraying fibreglass everywhere and then had it reappear from repair work like this;

Then got it looking its best after lowering springs, 288s, and subtle stuff like headlight protectors, HIDs etc;

Then I stripped it for track use, did some light damage and ended up leaving it parked for a year with no cover then broke it for spares and got the Corsa.

Miss that Cav.

This thread is amazing

My shopping list of garbage on the corsa

Sprayed my rear lights blue - then my indicators turned green and reverse light blue
Replaced said lights with black lexus items
Blue neons - bright as though
Straight through exhaust cat back - not oine silencer - sounded shite!
Bonnet vents - 1.0 12v gets a bit warm

Worst though:

Couldnt afford a boot build so I wired in my mum and dads living room speakers into the boot

I did the whole Venom thing, mind you in my defence that was in about 1998, on a Renault 5 turbo, they were 7*17 with 205's on the front and 8*17 with 215's on the back. The car was still sat on it's ringpiece, the back box used to catch on the road when you went over bumps.

It looked fucking ace at the time, still would now even with the dogshit wheels on it.
