I've spent £300 on carbon. Fit isn't 100% perfect. It never will be unless your making custom parts.

In the same way aftermarket bumpers never fit as good as standard items.
Thats just the way things are unless your happy to spend a fortune.

The fit should be a hell of a lot better for the amount people pay. The material cost for these things makes up the minority of the retail price. I wonder what you're paying for most the time.

Your saying Carbon fibre is cheap then? Its very expensive.

Most of the time your paying for the labour and time its taken to do x amount of moulds and get the shape as close as possible. then its just labour and materials + markup price or it wouldn't be worth doing.

I'd love to get into carbon making. I'd make a carbon fibre house

Haha, I was just on the phone to Performance trim enquirying about there Carbon Roof skin and they tried to sell me some of these wings. lol, Very nice mate!
