I gave up on worrying about milage really, I mean yeah it's obvious you would prefer a lower milage vehicle but I purposely spent a couple of weeks trying to find a really low milage (under 6,000 miles) K7 GSX-R and within 80 miles of owning it I've got a bill of over £350 to replace shit in the charging system that went on the ride home... It's just luck of the draw really.

Gutted to see you crashed Graham but hey, it's the coolest place I can think of for crashing, I'd much sooner say "I crashed at the Nürburgring" than "I understeered into a kurb round the one way system"

Yep definetly. But as you can see even when not driving flat out it's easy to come unstuck!

I wouldn't say it's that bad, fixable, not really a mess Tbf it could happen on any track just the fact u have a large bill if u do hit armco

Gutted for you Graham but, on the other hand, there are the plus points to crashing there!

Hope you get the car sorted and back on the road again!

I was a bit wtf at your comment to plus points about crashing, but then I realised you must mean about them being really good at dealing with accidents because they happen all the time!

Liking the stickers too

Exactly Mike, summed it up pretty good

Stickers have got a few laughs, worth every penny

I can't help but think how good a stripper I could have had for 6k a night. I'm sure you could hire someone like Jennifer Ellison like that for a night? Damn!

Tbh, it's really not that bad, it's just the fact it's a new car and most parts need to be bought new from Mazda that is bumping the price up!!

Still not 100% on the final price and I won't really know until it's stripped down and see how many various clips etc are going to be broken. But I can't do that until it's in the bodyshop. I have got Tom from Lemass giving me a quote aswell so just waiting on that.

to anyone that said pretend you crashed the car here and claim on the insurance, that wont work as the Ring update the insurance database immediately somehow and your insurance will already know it happened at the ring without you even telling them!

As for why do we do the ring when its so expensive, simple, there is no other track in the uk and possibly the world that is so unique and such an experience to drive around, traffic isnt always an issue either, on weekday evenings theres is barely any cars on it at all

I go to the ring as I know the danger of getting it wrong. A little mistake can be costly, I suppose it adds to the joy of getting that corner right.

Rob I looked at some of the pics the VXR lot put up from their time on the GP circuit and the big stones weren't out on the chicane before the final corner. If they weren't there the GP circuit could have been even more fun
