Not updated this in a while. Went through a phase where the car was for sale as i was bored of it but after a good think i decided to keep it! Not changed much on the car really just fitted some brand new Post 97 rear mudflaps that look cleaner than the MK4 astra ones i had. I've also set about Livening the interior up a bit so bought some white dial mats and also relieved a tigra of its orange needles but unfortunately never had the surround on it but not to worry! Also have a 3.5" outward rolled backbox to replace my oval one too

What could this be????
In the shed
Yep, looks like a engine
Popped a main bearing off, Looks perfect.
Now then, shell bearing, Only one is funked. Waiting to measure the crank.
Cap is fine
Crank is a bit scored.
But the shell.... omg. Its scored to buggery, The locating tabs have completely gone and its got hot (The other side of it, IS silver!)
So, tomorrow il be measuring the crank, figuring out what im doing (Swapping crank or just new shells and hope that sorts it, we'll see) and then once ive got it sorted, scott can do what the fuck he likes, once hes paid me lol

Been dragging my heals. Engine is 99% ready to go.
Just in the process of the last little bits. Scott is painting it all etc so it wont be going in as dirty and ugly as it is now.
Mostly built up:
Got all the inlet, mini loom etc on. I ran the mini loom my own way under the inlet which looks much better when powerboxes are fitted and i cant stand the look of the big blue plug when its in your face. (Shaun! )
Belt kit on:
Just need to get the cam sensor on, belt covers back on, Bottom pully, Give it all a bit of a clean, SAI blanking plate and a few other bits. Then scott will get it, and hopefully get it fitted quickly.
I'm never building a engine in my shed again though.
