we recently got some new furniture from the range as we needed some more storage and also loved the old fashioned look of these.

the black wires you see will be getting relocated through the wall into the garage behind so as to tidy up everything, just waiting for my dad to do it.

the old sideboard has been moved into the conservatory and this one has taken it's place, which i prefer. also hides all the wires for the cd player/phone/broadband/laptop.

and the lamp table which obviously needs a lamp to go on top:

also cleaned up the kitchen today. i hate clutter so took everything off the worktops and only put back the essentials, looks much better i think.

dented dishwasher was after i had one of my roidz moments, need to get that sorted

we're getting a combi boiler soon so the old boiler will be going. not sure why the previous owners didn't put a cupboard around it as it looks out of place there.

I have pretty much those exact same wall tiles in my new place. Can't decide if I like the simplicity or whether they look a bit bland....

i want a stainless steel panel for behind the oven going up to the extractor fan but the missus like the tiles.

i quite like simplicity. i really want a white cupboard/dark marble look worktop kitchen but that can wait a year or so.

I've got white cup'ds, stainless handles and a nice timber counter. Looks good I think.

Shit pic from the agents website before I bought it:

thats lovely i do like the timber but prefer the look of dark worktops when all clean.

would love something like this, obviously the style, not the size. my kitchen looks tiny in photo's but it's an ok size in real life.

Yeah, the timber works because its in the top of an old Victorian house.

Darker polished tops do look good for a more modern look
Cheaper ones are a bitch though as they get scratched to fuck.

yeah corona. it's nice enough stuff. pretty easy to assemble. i usually hate flat pack stuff but this was easier than ikea/argos bits.

Cant help but think they look a bit out of place in your place though as its pretty modern
