These kits have been around for a very long time well over 4 years mate!!! so i doubt they will "be gay"
Why do you mod your car do you think you will get loads back??? Its only a corsa?? Same thing mate.
Its different, its fun, its a cheap way to own one of the most beautifull designed cars in the world.

I think they are good, i personally wouldnt bother buying the badges and wheels and things like that as trying to make it a perfect replica is abit pointless!
as you are abit handy how about modding the kit abit putting some differnt lights on it a nice set of up to date rims and making it look abit more custom withough looking to chavvy!

I've herd insurance is dirt cheap on them. Cheaper than an mr2 because they are classed as kit cars.

They look very good I have to say but there is no way or replicating that ferrari engine tone...
So would be a dead give away...

Ive seen some really good ones but some look sooo poor its untrue.
The back end seems to be the hardest to get right.

I think they can look good but to me part of the thrill of seeing a Rari is the noise, you dont get the "ferrari" noise from an MR2.
If you're not prepared to do it properly then there is little point.
On another note, saw this today
