Yeah tbh I love them. And the R-Line is nicely specc'd.

And we've got a 2 year old and hopefully will have another on the way sometime soon so need practicality which a VXR doesn't have.

And i'm attracted to German build/reliability and less depreciation.

Winner I reckon.

And i'm 30 next month so I think my performance car days are behind me for now......and i'll have the kit car to get my kicks from!

Not according to alot of reviews. My Dad likes the Freelander but I think the Tiguan is nicer looking inside and out.

Its funny because if someone had said to me 5 years ago I'd be getting a softroader i'd have laughed.

But as you get older your taste and needs change dramatically!!

Don't like the new Passat and not bothered about big power.

The 2.0 TDI in the Tig produces 170bhp. And I could always get it mapped...

As said, if it wasnt for the fact that my Dad and I are building a track/road weapon kit car then my choice may be different.

Similar engine to mine but I guess it'll be the common rail version in the Tiguan, I've had the bluefin remap put on mine. Makes a nice difference
