Sounds like my old man when I was a kiddy
Joe, you will always get that in life, plus some occasions, such as this one, its a priviledge to have even been thought of so its worth "making an effort", whereas those you see day in day out think nothing of it.
Not saying its right or justifyable (woah thats spelt so wrong) or right or should be tolerated, but its understandable.

I know what you mean Mike, just feels like it's always down to me to put the effort in. Just can't be fucked with it
And the fact that you see it as a privilege makes it worthwhile inviting you. Forgot to tell you I got my suit jacket for £7 in the end

Now thats a bargain !
I know what you mean, i find if I want to see my brother, I have to drive down to his place which is about 180 miles which involves navigating the m25. However if I ever hint at him coming here the excuses come flying before i've finished the sentence.

Not bad reduced from £45

I'm still gutted we couldn't make it up to see you for your birthday

visit quidco > search retailer > click link
BOOM 6 months later 13p

Basically if you want to buy something online go to quidco and see if that site is on there.
If it is click the link to that site (make sure you're logged in on quidco), it'll open up in a new window and buy as normal. Then just wait for the money to show up (longest I've had to wait was 8 months)
There are also a few in-store places so if you register your card on quidco you get cashback if you use it in the shop
I wouldn't say I buy that much but I've had nearly £400 in less than 3 years

The way I see it even if I only get 3p for an ebay purchase or 15p for buying a dvd from play it's better in my pocket than anyone elses
I've had £80 for my contents insurance last year and £100 when I took out my new phone contract though as well as the small amounts

Forgot to say it costs £5 per year but that's taken out of the cashback you earn.
So if you went a year and earnt £4.99 you wouldn't pay anything or receive anything and it would roll over
