Yes, but wages in areas reflect house prices and the likes. You earn what you think is more because it costs more to live etc. For example, I could go to London and earn double. Either way, car prices are the same anyway.

Transfer into my house account £1250 a month
This covers:
Mortgage - £650
Council Tax - £84
Water rates - £20 (Bi-annually)
Gas - £35 Direct Debit so in credit a bit
Electricity - £20 Direct Debit so in credit a bit
House Insurance - £55
Redundancy Insurance - £35
This leaves me with £386 a month extra savings in my house account
Then house aside, I have £1,000 or thereabouts in my personal account left from my wage to spend on
Fuel - £160(ish) a Month
Car insurance - £60(ish) a Month
Car Tax - £10
Car Running Costs (MoT, Tyres, Service etc) - £40
I try and budget myself to £75 a week spends, to spend how I want and food etc.
so normally left with extra savings of £400ish a month but every spare penny at the moment is being saved towards the house
Edit: Still not enough though - could do with about £7,500 a year extra to be comfortable and finish the house in a reasonable time. I get a bit of a bonus each year, plus mileage and few jobs on the side which helps but doesn't matter how much you earn, its never enough!!!

I think he'd be better off in wonderland where houses cost less than a tenner tbh
Obviously that was an exaggeration. You only have to look in House Day for people buying up 2/3 bed houses for under £150k. For a decent 2 bedroom flat around here you are looking at about £220k.
Then move?

Unless you are paying a mortgage / running a house there's no way £1900 disposable should fall through your hands every month. You are going wrong somewhere
Or you're leading an extravagant lifestyle that some time in the future you will have to give up Lucky fucker to be on that wage though, wish I was!
I'm the same tbh I have plenty of money to piss up the wall, and piss it up the wall I do. Need to start saving for a new car/flat though

Looking at the amount of disposable income in this thread makes me sad. After my house/car outgoings have gone out i'm lucky to be left wtih £100 to spend on shit which usually dissapears within the first week or so.

There are some egos in here.
Since I've recently sorted my life out.
£250 rent.
£30 mobile.
£180 petrol.
£120 ish student loan.
Rest = savings (maybe a small bit on alcohol).
Currently saving for a house deposit, with an aim to save at least a grand a month.

I must be the only poor person on corsasport
My only outgoings are
£120 insurance a month
£40 phone bill
£40 petrol (if that, I get picked up for work and I usually drive my gfs car and use her petrol )
Money left at the end of the month depends on amount of days I work, I gave up a well paying job to go to college and be an apprentice but its better to do it now while I live at home than later on in life.
