I pour snow on the snow so the snow drips/slides off easier.
also my accelerator keeps sticking, especially in deserted carparks, really annoying.

I do agree about wiping snow off the roof, but it's simply not possible on a transit as I can't reach the roof. So when it slides down the windscreen I wipe it off with the wipers....simples

I've heard this through a grapevine too, what a load of shit. If they tried to fine me for it, I'd wipe it off and say "what snow?"

Haha, I drive brand new cars off the boats for the shipping industry. I was taking a brand new astra from compound and putting it on a ship, obviously there was a group of us doing this..I got in the car behind me, turned the ignition on, put all windows down and back up, took the keys out and placed them back where they were...
The windows had thick snow leaning against them so as soon as they came down the snow came in the car xD

Was driving up the M1 from Milton Keynes to Birmingham. Was really disappointed actually, been hearing nothing but snow chaos and my trip last night was faultless. I live down a narrow allyway which is a steep hill which isn't gritted and didn't even have issues getting down that. I'm sore the newspapers are making half this shit up, or perhaps Birmingham Council have done a good job keeping the city running

Though the road I live on has frozen over night and I'm not sure I'll get up it this afternoon
I need to fine a wheelbarrow and a shovel so I can grit it

Haha - Rule 229 of the Highway Code states: "Remove all snow that might fall off into the path of other road users."
