They aren't acutally that bad, you can get MSI's for most of their software that you need to chuck out and their administration guides are really well written.
Shit software though, the ONLY Adobe software I have on my personal computer is Flash Player Plugin for Opera.

We do a software update twice a month anyway, good practice.
I do them as and when they come for my other companies... I'd rather they addressed the issues tbh.
Microsoft are just as bad tbh.

Not great when it's a rediculously paranoid government department so everything requires testing by about 40 different people who aren't paticuarly interested in the issue
Then trying to get mechanics to understand they need to connect to the network to install the updates when they'd still rather be using a piece of paper than a laptop
