A fast car is a car that makes you go "weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" whilst passengers go "fuuuuuuuuuck!!!!" (without driving like a complete tool)

i went in a new Focus RS with 350bhp and that was pretty quick, or it felt it in the passenger seat, worked it out and it had 238bhp/tonne.. mine has 330bhp/tonne so id say mine was pretty fast.

Around 7 seconds to 60 and under...with 140 mph to speed is fast for a day to day car.

i think the 0-100mph is good test cos that sorts the nippy and fast cars out! the vx220 is just under 9secs to hit 100.

i would expect the clio 197 to be at least 5 seconds slower!

just looked it up......

clio 197, which i would say is pretty good nippy/fast car!

0-60 = 6.9
0-100 = 18.9sec

thats 12 seconds to do extra 40mph..... according to this

http://www.torquestats.com/index.php?car_id=64

compared to the vx thats

0-60 in 3.8
0-100 in sub 9

My 1.6 Corsa Sport was 150 bhp/ton. It was alright but i'd never class it as fast or quick. Maybe nippy.

Sub 8 to 60 = Nippy
Sub 7 to 60 = Quick
Sub 6 to 60 = Fast
Sub 5 to 60 = Now we're shifting!

Depends if you mean fast in a straight line, or fast through corners.

Fast in a straight line for me generally means anything that pushes you back in your seat so firmly that changing gear accurately becomes a problem. Fast through corners means you have trouble holding onto the steering wheel

thats probably about the same as what mine will do once finished, i know ill have roughly the same power as you (290ish) but ill weigh less and ill have 888's where you have the traction control.

you would probably win 0-100 tho as you will have more torque.

Dude, you drive an Accord? The thing is, people use different words depending on where you're from. I start at quick, not nippy, and end at fucking rapid And the pinning you to your seat thing isn't always accurate either. You can really feel the Volvo pushing you back when on full chat, but the Civic doesn't due to no torque Just as quick in a straight line but better in every other aspect.
