well after getting some good news yesterday on the job front i decided i'd get the corsa ready for its mot, probs could do with a service and new discs and pads aswell. so today i got a few odd jobs done on it while ive got the time

started painting the floor black to protect for the winter

i had used some lense tape on my reverse lights but they were lighting up red so had to be removed

left standard right all red style

back to normal

someone in the past has repaired the slam panel quite badly so i tidied it up the best i could and a quick blast of silver made it look better

and a random picture i quite liked. still need to fit rear springs once there dry since i painted them. just 60mm the now.

i actually hate the black wheels lol, soon be sorted though and opefully will look sweet. no much more to get either, 80mm 100mm springs 80 for the 100 for the rear, tigra scuttle and cointray, debadged grille, wind deflectors and couple of other bits

totaly forgot about this update on the nova from a few days ago....

not really an update as such, decided to have a clear out in the shed and found alot of parts i thought i didnt have, loads of various plastic, a few coils and an altinator, door mirrors, also dug a few bits im going to send off to get powdercoated, got a few more bits i want done but need the shell rolling atm

also hoping to get this softstar fixed, has a slight flatspot and has been welded but has developed a crack so i think its leaking air from there, anyone have suggestions?

and heres a pic of the dash i previoulsy mentioned when i was thinking of tracking it, the steering colums knackered likes so deffo considering corsa epas conversion atm

on another note as some will know im looking for a gsi interior, got my old front seats dropped off today :d (these ones)

i know of a guy with rears so thats that sorted and i think scorge is sorting me out with a black dash so getting there

time for another update, decided to start applying filler to my rear arch that was welded a few weeks back, applied the 1st layer, let it dry then sanded it down, wiped all the dust etc off then mixed up some more and applied another layer started to get the shape of the arch looking quite good for a 1st attempt. so i sanded back the 2nd layer quite alot and applied some filler primer. need to get some stopper and more sand paper and discs, but its a start in the right direction

a few pictures

1st layer - looks quite rough, not used filler for ages and by the time i mixed it was starting to set lol was also bare metal underneath

the i sanded it down and applied 2nd layer

some filler primer applied then just as it started raining i got the car back in the garage

comments welcome cheers craig

Coming on well bud.

Just one little thing, Dont forget to drill the holes fro the bumper support on the mk2 bumper in the rear quarter before you lay paint on it.
