Race 3 was WILD!
I've moved up from bottom to second bottom in the CS fantasy btcc league. Not the best team, in fact, I'm amazed I walked away with anything:
Shedden in his Honda = / not bad under Neal in race 1 & 2
Wrathal in the Seat = /
Wildcard: Platowned =

Turbo cars boost reduced 0.1bar for Thruxton.
Plato must have spat the dummy far enough then.

Indeed Ben, looks like the BTCC have their Ferrari figure then.
However, having read the rules just there's, I think it'll bite him on the arse. The turbo cars still have a torque advantage, but Thruxton would be murder for their tyres which have always been an issue there. Hopefully now they'll last and pump him.

the power circuits will still play in there favor regardless of the decrease, if they keep them similar and still pump plato then that will do me just fine!

3.10pm-3.50pm, live qualifying coverage on www.itv.com/touringcars
hondas are a bit further down on boost than the rest of the pack as they were running lower boost during the qualifying sessions where toca took the figures from to apply the 0.1 bar boost cut

Matt Neal on pole, bit of a shock given the testing times, just glad it wasnt Chilton tbh.
This whole notion of 0.1bar off recorded boost levels is nonsense imho. If the rules previously said 1.5bar, it should now be 1.4bar. If you were only using 1.2 then you'd already sacrificed 0.3bar and shouldnt be penalised further just to allow Chevy to stand a chance.

Exactly. It will keep being reduced too until Plato starts winning races consistantly.

Doh! Indeed. Excellent result then. now if he'd just be so kind as not to fuck it up, I could get a nice points haul this weekend!

Best place for Plato....in the barriers. Wait for the excuse that it's because he had to push so hard to keep up with the turbo cars!!!
