so i got bi-xenon and projector names mixed up. the fact it was a brand new car, with the kitemark, a gm stamp, and the part number stickered on the headlight is irrelevant though because 6 years later i couldnt remember what the headlights were described as.

They aren't in place yet, and besides, anyone who gets one will have the same opportunity as before to go to court. Presently, you are reported and then summonsed to court and can plead guilty or not guilty by post - not necessitating a court appearance if you plead guilty. The ticket will have the option to admit offence and pay (as per a mobile phone/speeding/etc ticket) or to go to court not guilty as per all endorsables.

Could you see, or would you, do someone who was sat behind someone on the motorway with someone in the fast lane doing 65mph, and refusing to move over to a clear middle lane, then them deciding to undertake?

these new on the spot fines sound great.
ok so the undertaking one is a bit shit as i love doing this to twats who hog the outside lanes, but the tailgating one is brilliant as i hate the people who do this.

yeah thats what im trying to figure out ben, sometimes you have to undertake because someone is clearly not driving to the road conditions properly, how else are you meant to progress!

Can't believe it's taken me nearly an hour to read a thread about spinning off from the lights and getting some hassle.
Some are sound, some are twats.
My worst experience was utterly ridiculous in terms of how heavy handed the entire situation was but I had deliberately driven in to someone who was in my way some minutes earlier so I didn't end up taking it any further.

I got pulled in Leeds twice now.
First Time was at 3am at Night, Cops were really nice and just checked my details etc.. They said my driving was a bit suspicious but I just got off with the excuse of "playing with radio"...
Second time I got pulled over ( By traffic cops i think) one of them was an absolute dick. Apparently my car didn't show as insured on PNC.
Asked me loads of questions as in When i took out my insurance, how I pay etc..
When I said "You are not telling me I have no insurance?" Got even more arsey and had this bad attitude towards me ( Not english, 4 people in car at night time in Black BMW)...
Didn't know who Bell insurance where.
His colleague called their control room/whereever to check if my car was insured which it was.
Didnt Say "Sorry for the inconvenience/Thanks for stopping) nothing... "Just we got more important places to be at"...

ofcourse it wasn't mate. this country is 100% politically corect.
Ian, I was insured and everything in order, and it was their fault, not mine. Because of experiences like that people do't like police
