Get a decent filter on it and you'll love it

Both are very good fun cars out the box
I was in the same dilema for ages between the two. Went for the CTR in the end due to feeling I was too tall for the clio and its high driving postition.
CTR will be cheaper to maintain. No belts etc to worry about and they dont often have any issues. Ive had two over the years and only ever changed oil and other consumables.
On the road I think the clio is the better handler just due to size really as the civic feels a bit big on twisty lanes etc. Out on track though they are just as good as each other.
End of the day drive both and go with what you prefer. I drove one of each back to back on the same day to make up my mind

or go a little more old school clio
they can shift with a bit of fiddling. got mine down to 940'ish kg and 185bhp. it isn't shy, i find it more fun and rewarding than a ctr. been in quite a few and ctr's just dont do it for me.

Prefer that to a CTR. Easily.
Oh, and who said ladies don't drive Clio Sports on another page?!
I'd give her an angry cuddle indeed.

Fuck yes I assume to get that sort of noise you'll need a manifold aswell as a full system?

All you need for an awesome sounding Civic is a Spoon B pipe and N1 exhaust But a mani will help

Well quite clearly you're a bigger fan of the Clio, it's simple is it not? There will be agreements and disagreements as to what sounds better. I think the Honda's sound better personally

Ah havent seen that vid in a while
Manifolds dont really make them sound like that if anything they make them more raspy
Mine with a mani and buddyclub exhaust, not on the car anymore as it was too loud. couldnt even hear the supercharger with it on
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZ-msAtb568
as you can see the waiting for 6k thing doesnt matter drop it into 3rd like so and off they go
this was my old one with just induction kit and different exhaust. Sounds best I think
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tq2uvmkxeDg
Also if you get a facelift get cosmic grey, lovely colour
Just dont fit stupid jdm plates, stickers and tow hooks like everyone seems to be doing
Just dont get a red one as they are rubbish

Cosmic Grey's are nice but they show the colour difference between the bumpers and bodywork like fook!
