^ I'd imagine that's the plastic sprayed, then a vinyl applied for the numbers, then lacquered over the top

Hi mate, two options, we can as stated use decals and leave them on, clear coat over the top, but this has slightly limited colours, or for a little extra price wise, we can use the decal as a mask and spray ANY colour writing, which is what most people go for.

The decals are damn durable once clear coated over the top mind you.

Cheers,
Simon

Right, firstly apologies to Simon for taking so long with this - been mega busy!

I sent my interior light off to be sprayed in gloss black and the results were excellent

It wasn't the most simple job I imagine as the circuit board needed removing and re-fitting, plus the shape probably made it a bit awkward but the finish is excellent.

Turnover time was pretty good, I didn't get chance to view pictures of the work before it was sent back, but Simon assured me this was just because he wanted me to get my part back asap and for "proper" jobs the pictures would be sent and customer satisfaction achieved before the parts are sent back.

So I would definitely use the service again, assuming the prices are competitive! In fact Simon - u2u me a price to have the two sunvisors done if that's possible?!

Here are a few pics (excuse the massive size!) of the work done too

I'm happy to stand by my own posts.

I have a policy, which Simon ignored.

I have reasons for employing the policy, namely a great many cowboys who caused me many hours of faffing. Perhaps other forums are more tolerant because it doesn't affect them as much but I get involved in every single one and as a result, I have a position on it.

I could welcome people with open arms and wash my hands of it when things go wrong but this also would not be an ideal solution.

At no time did I suggest this particular company or the work is not of an appropriate standard. I said we have rules and we also know that even with the best of intention, things can go wrong.

I also said I was happy to revisit them if I could get some proper information about tax and whether it is worthwhile earning £200 to spend £300 on an accountant. That all went a bit quiet.

If you want your bits painted, carry on. I'm just trying to ensure everything goes well for those involved.

you did wash your hands when a trader sold fake good though didn't you??

you stated it was out of your control

What do you expect Ian to do he can only do so much, he's not responsible for what you buy, you make your own decissions to buy or not. All he can do is put in a system to try and prevent it, which works to an extent. Trade at your own risk, the site is not responsible.

Hi Steve, would need a pic to confirm, is it nasty textured plastic, do you want this removing? If its just a blow over and dull coat, we can do this cheaply...
