Never heard of someone polishing away your car, but hey ho
He says it every time he sees me washing it (which hasn't been for a while tbf) - I think he means I'll polish all the paint off of it, even though I rarely polish it

Mine costs less than that per month. As for economical... Depends on your right foot
Anyway, £150 for how long? A year, two years, 5 years?

Doesn't really matter how long over tbh. 3/4 years probably. I've seen I can get a brand new EDGE 1.25 Fiesta for 3 years on PCH for just under 150 a month. Might go down Ford and see what they have got. They had a couple of second hand Corsa SXi's down Vaux for £139ish a month but I dunno, I've driven a few and not sure I like them enough, plus a 1.2 is going to be like driving a tank most probably.

I know, it's just that it's the only thing he can ever think of Next door always comes out with the classic "won't do mine next will you?", although after I once replied "careful what you wish for" he hasn't said it since

Yeah it probably is, but how much better is a 1.25 Fiesta going to be? 50ccs isn't going to make that much of a difference. What about the 1.4 TDCi? That's what I learned in
Second hand SXi wouldn't be a bad choice tbh, presumably they'd give you less trade in though?

Start looking at diesels and it's going out of budget really. I just looked at a 09 plate fiesta tdci and it just scraped in but was shit spec.
Vaux offered me £500 for the C unless I went for that deal on the 1.0 I told you about then they give me £2k

£500 trade-in really is quite bad. Apparently you should get over double that http://www.whatcar.com/valuations/result?makeId=2080&modelId=2981&editionId=2999&yearId=24&mileage=100000

Do it, shouldn't be too hard to shift with that price
Just put mine in on Whatcar Shouldn't have as the value has apparently dropped by 1k http://www.whatcar.com/valuations/result?makeId=2080&modelId=2981&editionId=3126&yearId=8&mileage=59000
That means in owning it for about a year and a half, a quarter of its value has disappeared
