Haha Dont let Fairbrass hear you... he'll be making Korda rat traps by the end of the week!

He does my head in

I'm not really a big carp angler to be honest, just the odd casual day ticket behind two buzzers when I'm bored of bream, tench or barbel in the summer.

Piking all the way now though till' March - only done two sessions so far and no runs yet. I may use that mouse for bait

Nice Perch!

We normally use Smelt as deads... but thinking we should be using bigger bait like lamp or mackerel.

I had the same yesterday, both triggered but only one mouse. I think they're roping in from the skylights

Don't have the traps right next to each other either - one at each end of the shed but had them both together for the reload.

I have same B&Q traps as you and Ive been wedging dumbell boilies in the holes in the traps and they are hard to pull out so the mice cant steal them.

It also seems Facebook dont like pics of dead trapped mice being posted. My photo got deleted and i got an email about violating rules as i was showing a sadistic act to a person/animal!

I gotta admit I do feel a bit cruel, as I've got a bit of a manly soft spot for wee critters... but these fuckers owe me almost £150 worth of gear, and now I'm enjoying this more than fishing itself

First night,

Cheeky twats ate 3 bags of crisps and ruined 2 rolls of kitchen roll.

8 traps set with cheese, really need better bait.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

I've had two double-kills two nights in a row, makes my total tally 7.

Can't post any more pics though, as per my Phone vs Washing machine thread

Cleared my shed out today and got some sealant down in all the gaps - hopefully can keep the little buggers out now.

Cheese is working well. One more little critter caught.
