little update really. had a spare set of gsi foglights so thought i would try summat.
probably not to everyones licking but they now have a small side light LED in them aswell as the main bulb.
pic with foglights on
also got my rev counter sorted out now so it works properly
hoping to have it on the road for the 13th all being well. next big job to tackle is going to be trying to put EPS on it. if anyone has any idea of how to do it the help would be greatly appreciated

Yea it should do. I just told the lad what I had and he sorted it and was with me in a week. Well worth the money IMO. Worked first time.

well the corsa had its first outing yesterday. did well apart from a few faults.
managed to snap the speedo cable because i didnt tighten it up properly and the back box fell off
found out im going to have to change the gearbox though as the F16 is far to high ratio. when doin 70 its at 4k rpm. so going to have to change it for an F20 i think
apart from the all is well. pulls like a train once it gets traction. very surprised how quick it is for a big v6

been a really long time since i updated this. quiet abit has happened to it since my last post.
manage to get hold of an f20 geabox ans fit that, although it feels like its on its last legs and will need to be changed before billing.
my mate had some free time so finally managed to get the coilovers set up. surprised the car even drove straight with how bad it was.
before:
after:
sein as though the body work on the car is abit rough and dont have enough time or money to get it done i managed to get some front wings, passanger door and a boot all off the let that bigron1988 was breaking.
also managed to send the corsa for a new exhaust fitted today by tony banks in leeds. its from the manifolds back for the price of £400 . bit more than i wanted to pay but it really needed it.
got a new engine cover aswel. not sure it will be to everyones liking but its different and goes with the car IMO
few pics of her now shes all clean
any comments welcome

Are you coming with us to Billing? Want to have a look around this
Did you have a hole in the rear bumper before hand and get the exhaust made to fit or did you want it like that for clearance?

unfortunately im not coming with corsasport. i wanted to but was told that it had to be in show condition. it has a few marks on it that the camera doesnt pick up.
didnt want the bumper cutting but the place that did the exhaust said they had to for clearence. was abit pissed off to be honest

You should have spoken to Ian to double check, I'm sure yours would have been fine
Oh that sucks! I'd have told them to work around it, you see many people with custom jobbies that come down and sit where they should.
Does it run well? What are temps like with the v6? Mine gets hot as an XE

When it's sat in traffic it goes up to 96 degrees. Apart from that it stays at 89 all the time. It was Ian that said it to me. At the time he said it though it was in a state. Come along way in a week believe it or not. Think I'm going down with vauxhall owners club now. Really wanted to come with CS though.
